Directly on the seafront in the old town, the large terrace of this restaurant has spectacular views of the harbour. Should the weather prove inclement and preclude outdoor dining, the interior is delightful and comfortable. Fish specialities include crab, mussels, squid, octopus and risotti.

 

Galija

Nestled beside the Franciscan monastery, with beautiful views onto the bay of Cavtat and the old town, Galija offers a fine and varied menu of specialist grilled meat dishes and the most deliciously fresh fish and seafood.

Situated close to the Pile Gate, this elegant restaurant is famous for its rich gastronomic delicacies. The dining terrace has splendid views over the Adriatic. Should you decide not to take a full dinner, the Nautica coffee shop with its delightful outdoor terrace is extremely welcoming.

Orsan

Just a few miles to the north of Dubrovnik in the coastal village of Zaton, Orsan is popular with nautical tourists – a fine recommendation for anyone with a taste for good seafood. The specialty of the house is ‘black risotto’, a classic Croatian dish of cuttlefish and Arborio rice cooked in squid ink. If taking lunch or an early dinner, you can enjoy a swim whilst your meal is being prepared: you will dine right next to the sea.
